Additional Information for the SURVEYOR Mutation Detection Kit for LI-COR 4200 and 4300 Instruments

Thank you for your inquiry concerning SURVEYOR Mutation Detection Kits that utilize a novel mismatch-specific endonuclease derived from celery. Transgenomic now offers the enzyme under the name SURVEYOR Nuclease. The enzyme can be provided in different kit configurations designed to match the user’s specific needs and analysis platform.

These kits are designed to produce SURVEYOR Nuclease cleavage fragments that are derived from mismatched DNA fragments. The cleavage products should be separated and analyzed by fluorescent thin gel electrophoresis using a for LI-COR 4200 or 4300 Instruments.

Each kit contains:

  • SURVEYOR Nuclease L (formulated to produce digestion products for standard gel electrophoresis)
  • SURVEYOR Nuclease Enhancer F (formulated to match the SURVEYOR Nuclease)
  • Stop Solution
  • Control Plasmids
  • User’s Guide

To use this kit, you will need to order appropriate IRDye™-labeled primers.
