Transgenomic Opens Another New Office In Support of Rapidly Growing Technology

Transgenomic, Inc. has opened an office in Tokyo, Japan. This new location will serve as a sales and technical support office for the Company.

"I am pleased to announce the opening of this new office, and more so, to be able to announce that we have staffed the office with the highest quality personnel", said Collin D’Silva, CEO. Mr. Yasu Nakamura has opened the office and will serve as Branch Manager. "The new office is set up with a WaveŽ Nucleic Acid Separation System, so that demonstrations of the technology can be facilitated to existing customers, as well as the large potential customer base in Japan," said D’Silva. "This facility fits nicely with our mission of being a global leader in the rapidly growing Life Science arena," D’Silva went on to say.

Transgenomic, Inc. markets the WaveŽ System, which incorporates patented technology for the automated separation and analysis of DNA. The Company believes the technology offers significant advances in speed and information gathering ability over existing technologies.
