Polymeric Reversed Phase

Overview

Transgenomic offers a polymeric alternative to the silica columns commonly used in the analytical laboratory for reversed phase applications. For the separations of pharmaceuticals, proteins, basic compounds, peptides, and other biomolecules, Transgenomic offers columns based on alkylated and non-alkylated forms of polystyrene –divinylbenzene polymers. Our patented ACT-1 polymeric columns are covalently bonded with C18 groups giving the substrate a true reversed phase character with no tailing of basic compounds due to residual silanol groups, metal impurities, or reactive surface functionalities. The PRX-1 columns are packed with a porous, polystyrene –divinylbenzene polymer that is ideal for the separation of peptides and small molecules. For reversed phase methods requiring basic mobile phases, simple eluents, chemically stable materials, or lot to lot reproducibility, a Transgenomic reversed phase column may be the best choice for your application.
