Results obtained using Fluorescent Capillary Electrophoresis methods

SURVEYOR Nuclease cleavage products analyzed using fluorescent capillary electrophoresis. SURVEYOR Nuclease digestion products were obtained by digesting 2 ng each of fluorescently labeled Control FAM-G/C homoduplex/heteroduplex mixture (upper panel), and Control FAM-G homoduplex (middle panel) and Control FAM-C homoduplex (lower panel). Homo- and heteroduplexed DNA templates were digested with 1 µl of SURVEYOR Nuclease F for 20 min at 42°C in 1X SURVEYOR Nuclease Reaction Buffer. The expected digestion products of 217 and 415 bp were obtained from a 632-bp heteroduplexed substrate but not from the homduplex controls. All samples were run on an ABI 3100 Genetic Analyzer. ABI DNA Standards were run as markers (red line).
